Jack Ross has gone home from the hospital and has rebounded somewhat. He is eating and drinking, something the hospital staff didn't think he would do and his kidneys are functioning, also something they thought wouldn't happen. We are all hopeful that he will continue to strengthen but with Parkinson's, he will inevitably continue to fail. Thank you all for your prayers and good wishes, we really appreciate it. We'll keep you all informed on how he is doing.

What Is New!
|
Welcome to the start of our new, in house, website. We have tried to add things you have asked for, we have a lot of new things yet to come but wanted to get the basics up as soon as possible. We have areas that only members can access to protect your privacy and areas especially for women who show an interest in finding out about us.
Please feel free to share thoughts and ideas with us, if you find something that doesn't work, let us know and we'll get on it as quickly as possible. No longer do we have to wait for outside folks to do it for us, but remember, programming does take a bit of time so we'll fix it as fast as they can rewrite it.
We have a three person IT department who has in the past 2 1/2 years, completely rewritten all our programs from our mainframe platform to work on PC's, added additional items we didn't have and is now doing the website. They also take care of all our hardware, yes, we do chain them to their desks so they don't have a life outside of our IT needs, just kidding. They are an amazing group of folks and we are lucky to have them.
Take a look around, see what's there, check back often to see if new items have been added. We will add a way to survey the membership on items we want to have your opinion on, much faster than mail. We are working to give you new ways to be in touch with sisters around the world, so welcome to the new site, realize it is in it's infancy and help us to guide it in the directions you most want. |
